Send them to the depths of hell, today only
Fruit flies and indoor mosquitoes are a lot like those stacks of National Geographic magazines at your grandpa’s house: once they start accumulating, you’re going to have a hard time getting rid of them. But Katchy offers a surprisingly simple solution in a slick, sci-fi-looking package that’ll only set you back $28 in today’s Amazon Gold Box.
It might look like some sort of cyberpunk trash can, but Katchy is basically just three components: a light source, a fan, and a sticky trap. It activates automatically at night when your house is dark, and its UV light immediately becomes the brightest thing in your kitchen. The light attracts the bugs, whose tiny, stupid wings are no match for Katchy’s impeller fan, which sucks them up and spits them out onto a glue trap at the bottom of the device. Results will vary based on how many bugs you have, but I’m going to have nightmares after seeing this photo from an Amazon reviewer:
Normally $40, it’s down to just $28 today in two colors and two configurations (automatic and manual; but there’s no reason to buy the manual one unless the automatics sell out). That’s great news for you... and really bad news for your bugs.
