The website Recycle Nation allows users to view the nearest recycling location to them. In North Hollywood, Calif., eWaste U.S. Electronics Recycling accepts unwanted items and "the state reimburses the local facility for properly disposing of them. The funds come from small fees you pay every time you buy a new gadget."
